Attended Living4Zachary foundation’s events in Dallas

We went to Dallas to attend this Foundation’s cardiac screen at Baylor Heart hospital in Plano on last Friday then went to their Heart Ball on Sat. night. They screened 60 kids for hidden heart conditions then had 900 people at the Ball to raise money to continue their mission of helping save kids lives

Colorado State Patrol Academy In-Service Training

I was at Camp George West in Golden today instructing over 40 State troopers in our Law Enforcement First Responder course. We covered CPR, AED use, and First Aid scenarios commonly encountered in the law enforcement environment. Note the upgrade in transportation for a Colorado State Trooper.

I delivered a Philips OnSite AED to Prentice Orthodontics today and did a training for the staff on its usage in a cardiac arrest event.  The OnSite is endorsed by the American Dental Association (ADA) for use in dental office setting. Their office is located in Broomfield at 144th and Lowell.

Dst.49-Co.Springs- Security Staff/Nurses/Teachers- Ready for an Emergency

I had a great class of nurses, security staff and teachers today at SkyView  Middle School in District 49 in Colorado Springs. Raising Coaches Awareness About Cardiac Arrest in Youth Athletes

I was at the Colorado High School Coaches Association conference over the last two days and was able to contact many of them with information on our new Play With Heart Foundation. Training to Save Lives in the “Old West”

I was in Sheridan, Wy.l ast week training for Fidelity Petroleum/Exploration. Wyoming is still the “Old West” and  it is always fun to drive through the state. I saw tons of antelope and deer. I will be going back in Aug. to Wamsutter for more trainings. I will keep you posted!

Adams County Probation Officers learn livesaving skills

I finished training Adams County Probation staff CPR/AED/Adult First Aid today. This was the last of three classes with them and we instructed over 50 staff in these livesaving skills. I enjoyed working with all of them.
